Best replacement.This unit is used with an oil pressure warning light and a spade style wire connector.Originals were stamped no. 6.Looks closer to the original than 9278-1A.
Application Note: This part is used only on vehicles with an oil pressure warning light.Other than changes to the size and shape of the sender, Ford produced two functional differences in the warning light sender;One used a spade style wire connector and the other used a stud style wire connector.To order the correct sender, verify your wire connection.
